Krista and Jon Lindberg purchased The Cozy Cattery in early June, 2017. They fell in love with the Cattery and the concept of cats-only boarding when they walked in the door!
Krista and Jon have been long standing residents of Northern Nevada and have high standards for customer satisfaction. Jon is an owner of a highly respected and successful business in Reno/Sparks. Krista’s background has been in management, including the hotel industry and understands the value of meeting/exceeding customers’ expectations.
Krista and Jon are “animal” people enjoying time with heir 2 horses, 2 bulldogs and, of course, the 2 family cats, who purrsonally stay with us often!

I had worked in the vet industry... I couldn't think of anywhere else I'd rather take him for great care ! Every time I go in there to drop him off, the cats around the entire facility always look so calm and happy....
I definitely feel he gets amazing care here and is always so playful when he comes back home. They always are so accommodating to me if I need to drop him off early as well.

Policies
• Clients with cats 12 years or older, or cats with medical conditions, must sign a veterinary release form to be kept on file at the Cattery. Upload below.
• We reserve the right to separate cats being boarded together (from the same family) if it becomes necessary for their well-being. The fee will be adjusted from the date of separation.
• Children. To ensure a serene environment for our boarding guests, children are only permitted in the boarding area while accompanied by an adult parent/guardian.
• Cats older than 4 months must be neutered or spayed.
FVRCP and Rabies Vaccinations
Cat owners must show proof of current FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations on their Veterinarian’s receipt or printout.

We offer this service at no additional cost for those of you who have travel plans that require you to leave early.
Arrival during this time period is by appointment only as we need time to return guests to their cabins prior to your arrival.
Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time so our guests may resume their exercise time outside of their cabin with minimal interruption.
Sunday Closed. By appointment only
Our office is closed to allow our guests the full day for their out of cabin rotations. When you book your reservation, you can let us know if you need a Sunday appointment.

Directions
The Cozy Cattery is conveniently located right off I-80, Only 5 minutes from West McCarran.
From Reno/Sparks
Take I-80 west towards CA
Just beyond Mogul, take EXIT 5 EAST VERDI, which becomes Business 80 (also known as Old U.S. Hwy 40).
A short distance after exiting you reach a round-about. Take the second exit, going straight through the round-about.
About 100' on your left, you will see our big yellow "Cozy Cattery" sign. Turn LEFT into the parking lot, bear to the RIGHT and pull in to our lot.
Park in our reserved parking area with the "Cozy Cattery Clients Only" sign at the side of the building near the entrance.
From Truckee, CA
Take I-80 east towards Reno
After entering Nevada, take EXIT 2 to VERDI (Business 80).
Exit 2 becomes Gold Ranch Road. Follow the road over the I-80 overpass to the "T" intersection.
Turn right on Business 80 (Old Hwy 40).
After about 3 miles, look on the right for our big yellow sign at the driveway entrance. Turn RIGHT into the driveway and as you enter, bear to the RIGHT and you will see our sign on the corner of the building.
If you miss our driveway, just take the round-about back to our driveway entrance. If you accidentally drive back onto I-80, use the directions "From Reno/Sparks" to return.
Parking
Park in our reserved parking area with the "Cozy Cattery Clients Only" sign at the side of the building near the entrance.
